Raj is a Chicago native, born in the southwestern suburbs, and he pursues a career in Emergency Medicine. Today he practices in the Chicagoland area and spends his free time with his wife, volunteering his time to charitable causes such as Habitat for Humanity, home construction, and audio-visual home and automobile electronics implementation. His goal, along with his fellow YRC members, is to see the YRC vision come to fruition: to provide underprivileged youth a chance to record their music and have the opportunity to share it with the world. Raj is our website developer and will oversee studio construction.

Growing up, Rosie was a student of the cello, and she has also made guest vocal appearances on several studio recordings. She attended Northern Illinois University, where she spent several years volunteering, fundraising, and event planning for various local causes. She will utilize her experience and skills to help YRC obtain the support it needs from all aspects of the community. Rosie is a recent culinary school graduate, and she currently works as a chef in Chicago. She is also Ben's sister, and in the past she has performed on his recording projects.
Cullen Kehoe Director of Promotional and Media Activities

As a locally successful young singer-songwriter living in Texas, Cullen became very familiar with the financial challenges of producing professional recordings. Never giving up his passion for music, he went on to become an ER doctor and small business owner in Chicago, and Cullen now wishes to give back to the community and the arts by making the dream of this free recording studio for young musicians a reality. Cullen has been volunteering his time and effort to life changing causes both locally and internationally since he was seventeen. Using his extensive experiences and strong desire to affect change in his local community, Cullen hopes to further the cause of YRC by overseeing all promotional activities and media relations.

Michael McCormick Director of Legal Affairs

Michael is Managing Partner of McCormick Braun Friman LLC in Chicago and serves on numerous philanthropic boards around the country. Michael has been practicing law for more than twenty years and has tried cases in state and federal courts as well as the United States Tax Court of Claims. He concentrates his legal practice in areas of corporate tax law , including nonprofit organizations. In addition to representing numerous charities, he has represented entertainers, writers, and record executives. Michael and his wife Jessica have five children and live in Chicago.

As director of operations of the recording studio , Tony will oversee all budgetary and operational issues pertaining to the studio. A guitarist and singer, his first recording experience came at the age of seventeen when he recorded a full length album with his former band. He has since gone on to assist the engineering of several smaller studio projects. He is a graduate of Columbia College's Fiction Writing Department, and he currently works as a DJ at the Chicago late night staple, The Hangge-Uppe.
Ben is the founder and executive director of Youth Recordings Chicago. Ben has spent a majority of his life performing and recording music. As a teenager in Chicago, he was an active guitarist in several bands, and he continued as a solo musician throughout his twenties. His first studio recording experience at age fourteen was a stepping stone for a lifetime of study of audio arts and engineering. It has been a dream of his to build a recording studio, as well as to give back to his community in a unique and meaningful way. With YRC, he intends to do just that. Ben is a Chicago native and works as an ER doctor throughout the midwestern United States.

The YRC Mission Statement:
The purpose of Youth Recordings Chicago, NFP is to foster creativity and imagination by providing a resource for young musicians to create professional-quality recordings without consideration of financial means.
Youth Recordings Chicago is a 501(c)(3) pending nonprofit organization. The corporation was conceived and founded by Ben Stull as a solution to the challenges of being a young musician in Chicago. Young musicians face a multitude of roadblocks on their path to success in today's music industry. It is uncommon for them to be viewed as a serious talent, as they are usually limited to working within an inherently adult business. There is often a lack of support and enthusiasm for the dream of turning their music into something bigger. Ultimately, it is typically a combination of significant recording costs and limited financial means that prevent these talented young musicians from ever setting foot into a professional recording studio.
Having experienced these barriers firsthand as a teenager, Ben has now assembled a group of six other individuals who are equally committed to the interests of young musicians. In December 2009, this group formed Youth Recordings Chicago, NFP, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling Chicago's youth to carry out their musican vision. As it's first project, YRC will develop, build, and operate a fully equipped professional recording studio. Our goal is to provide professional audio services, free of charge, to all young musicians in the Chicago area. The studio will be built and equipped entirely from donated monies and items, and it will be staffed by volunteers.
